You will need: pork steaks (or you can use diced pork just the same), sea salt and black pepper, mixed herbs, single cream, garlic, leek, onion, white wine
It will take: about 30 minutes
Method
1. Heat a spoonful of oil in a frying pan. Season the pork steaks and brown on both sides for 3 or 4 minutes. Remove from the pan.
2. Add a little butter and fry off some diced leek, garlic and onion in the pan. Add a glass of white wine and some fresh herbs such as oregano, thyme and parsley. Return the steaks to the pan and simmer for a few minutes.
3. Remove the steaks and set aside to rest. Whisk in about 150ml of single cream in to the sauce and slowly simmer to thicken.
