You will need: approx. 400g mince – any type, fresh or dried herbs to complement the type of mince, such as thyme & oregano with lamb, an onion – diced finely, 2 cloves or a tablespoon of wet garlic, 1 egg, oil, salt and pepper, large frying pan or skillet
It will take: about 15 minutes
Fry the onions and garlic in a little oil until softened. Set aside to cool.
Mix the mince with the cooled onion and garlic, herbs, and beaten egg. Season well and divide in to equal sized balls, and refrigerated until needed.
Heat some oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs gently for about 10 minutes until browned on all sides.
Serve with gravy and boiled new potatoes or pasta and tomato sauce.
